MGK “Wild Boy” Remix Music Video ft 2Chainz MeekMill, Mystikal, FrenchMontana, Yo Gotti & Steve-O

Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) “Wild Boy” Remix Music Video ft 2Chainz, MeekMill, Mystical, FrenchMonatana & YoGotti

Back at this years SXSW Music Festival we were entrusted to direct the remix music video for MachineGunKelly’s “Wild Boy” remix feat. 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, Mystikal, French Montana, Yo Gotti & Steve-O

We set out from Los Angeles CA to Austin TX on a 24hr van ride, all our equipment, snacks and hard drives packed in a rented 6 seater dodge minivan.

Piere Pictures made the trip w/ us to DP the music vieo and ShadRobinson and Edwin Tovar had a showcase performance @ SXSW so they also made the trip w/ us.

The next 3 days were nothing but legendary. Our vision for this music video was to have it be documentary based, show the lifestyle and exciting energy of the LaceUp crew and the amazing live show that MachineGunKelly performs. SXSW is a crazy music festival in itself, now try and shoot a music video there amongst all the madness. All in all we had great time, one of the best experiences for a growing APLUS company. We couldn’t have pulled this video off with out the help from MGK’s whole Est 19xx & LaceUp crew. Some of the most down to earth cool ass muthafuc*ers we’ve had the privilege to work with.

now, watch the music video. And yes, this video was as much fun to shoot as it is to watch. Enjoy

Alori Joh – Rest In Peace: 1986-2012

Alori Joh on set filming 'HiiiPower'

Aplus was saddened to hear the news that Top Dawg Entertainment-affiliated singer Alori Joh has passed away. She was an incredibly talented performer and kind person with a bright future. Alori was featured in a number of Aplusfilmz videos, including Kendrick Lamar’s ‘HiiiPower’ and Schoolboy Q’s ‘Phenomenon.’ She will be missed. Rest In Peace.
